Ingredients:
- 7 grams CBD flower
- 120 ml (1/2 cup) coconut oil
- 200 grams (1 cup) granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 5 ml (1 teaspoon) vanilla extract
- 45 grams (1/3 cup) unsweetened cocoa powder
- 60 grams (1/2 cup) all-purpose flour
- 2.5 ml (1/2 teaspoon) salt
- 2.5 ml (1/2 teaspoon) baking powder
Infusing CBD flower with coconut oil:
- Preheat your oven to 220°F (105°C).
- Grind the CBD flower and spread it evenly on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake the CBD flower for 30-45 minutes to decarboxylate it, which converts the CBDA into CBD. Stir it every 15 minutes to ensure even heating.
- In a saucepan, melt the coconut oil over low heat. Add the decarboxylated CBD flower and simmer for 2-3 hours, stirring occasionally. Do not let the temperature go over 200°F (93°C).
- Strain the mixture using a cheesecloth or fine mesh strainer to remove the CBD flower. The remaining CBD-infused coconut oil is ready for use in your recipe.
Brownie instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the CBD-infused coconut oil, sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder.
