Where Our CBD Hash Comes From
Almost every hash listing names a country. Far fewer can tell you the valley, the maker or the batch, and a named source is one you can actually check. Right now ours comes from a handful of places, each with its own way of doing things.
Morocco: the Rif
The Rif mountains of northern Morocco are where dry sift has been made for generations: dried plants worked over fine screens, the resin gathered and pressed by hand. The area around Ketama gave its name to a whole style of pressed hash. Some of ours is made in the Bab Berred and Ounas Edin valleys, and the Goldbar 420 story covers who makes it and how. France
A lot of our hash is made in France, by makers who work across several styles: hot-pressed blocks in the Moroccan manner, red Lebanese-style hash, static sift, ice-water hash and soft mousse. Where a maker names the hemp variety or the region it was grown in, the product page carries that too.
Switzerland
The Swiss hash we stock is dry-sifted through screens of a set size, around 150 microns, so every batch is sieved the same way. Most of it starts as hemp grown indoors under controlled lighting. Where the plant was grown somewhere else, the product page says where.
Named on Every Product Page
Wherever a block comes from, its page lists the dominant terpenes, the full cannabinoid breakdown and the genetics and origin. Some pages name a country, some go down to the valley, and a few are labelled EU.
Who Chooses Our Hash
Sean, who founded Originals, still vets what we stock himself. He asks suppliers where it was grown, who their own suppliers are and whether it can be traced all the way back, and every sample is judged on sight, then aroma, then taste. Most of what arrives doesn't make it. One supplier sent seven flower samples and fifteen to twenty hash samples in a single batch, and almost none got through. PREPARATION
How to Take CBD Hash
As a herbal tea: that's how all our hash is sold, and it's the only way we suggest taking it, whichever block you've picked. It comes down to three steps, grate, steep and strain, and it starts with reading the product information on the page and the pack.
Grate It
A lump of hash won't steep evenly, so run it over the fine side of a grater first and aim for small, even flakes. Keep the amount small. The tea guide linked below explains how to measure a portion properly, rather than guessing with a spoon.
Steep It
Put the flakes in an infuser or a small pan of hot water, or use milk if the product's directions allow it. Give it a stir now and then so nothing settles at the bottom. The guide covers how long to leave it.
Strain and Serve

How to Choose CBD Hash
The table further up tells you what each style is. Choosing between them is the harder part, because most hash looks much the same in a photo and the gap between a careful maker and a careless one is wide. These are the things we check before a block goes on sale, and they're worth checking wherever you buy.
What the CBD Percentage Tells You
The CBD percentage is a measure of content: how much CBD is in the block. It isn't a measure of strength or quality. Most of the hash on this page sits between about 20% and 35%, some lighter pressed and pollen styles sit nearer 10–15%, and a couple of refined ones run far higher. If you came looking for high-strength CBD hash, the figure you want is that CBD content, and it's on every product page under the cannabinoid breakdown.
A bigger number isn't automatically a better block. A careful dry sift keeps the resin heads mostly intact and barely warms them, so the terpenes stay put and the block smells alive. A rough press chases yield: more plant matter goes in, it's worked harder and warmer, and the heat drives off the lighter aromatics. Two blocks can carry the same figure on paper and be nothing alike in the hand. The percentage is one fact. How it was made is another, and it's usually the one you can smell.
What Quality CBD Hash Looks Like
Good hash gives you signals you can see and smell. Warmed gently in the hand it should soften and give a little, not shatter to dust and not smear like putty. The aroma should be distinct and fresh, never musty or like old hay. Colour runs from pale blonde dry sift to dark pressed brown, and neither end is a quality score on its own. It just tells you the style, which is where the table comes back in.
Comparing Price per Gram
Most hash here comes in 3.5g and 7g, and some also comes in 14g and 28g. Bigger sizes usually work out cheaper per gram, and each product card shows the price per gram for the weight you pick, so you can set a 7g of one block against a 14g of another without reaching for a calculator.
Price per gram is fairest between like and like. A gram of ice-water hash and a gram of hot-pressed hash are different things, so read it next to the style and the CBD figure. Buying in bulk for a shop or business? That's handled through our bulk and trade quantities.

In short, yes, with conditions. The plant it comes from has to be low-THC industrial hemp rather than high-THC cannabis, and the finished block has to meet the strict UK limit on controlled cannabinoids such as THC. That's where independent lab testing comes in: a percentage on a listing is just a claim until a third-party lab has measured the actual batch and confirmed it.
