Sour Lifter CBD Flower

Sour Lifter is an Oregon CBD original - Suver Haze #50 crossed with their GG#4 CBD conversion - and described by Oregon CBD as one of their absolute in-house favourites. It placed 2nd at the Oregon Growers Cup 2021. Grown in a greenhouse by Rogue Family Farms in Southern Oregon. The terpinolene-forward, resin-heavy profile produces an uplifting, alert, clear-headed character that sits at the active end of what CBD flower can offer. Brewed as a loose-leaf herbal tea the sour citrus and grape sweetness comes through clearly in the cup, with the diesel depth from the GG#4 genetics adding a distinctive finish that sets it apart from any other tea in the range. Dense, frosted buds. At 19.4% CBD it's high-potency. A bold daytime tea with award-winning genetics and an aroma that earns its reputation.

Earthy, spicy, woody. Cracked black pepper and clove. Notable in research as the only terpene known to interact with CB2 receptors.

Myrcene

Earthy, fruity, musky. The dominant terpene in most indica-leaning varieties. Traditionally associated with deep, grounding, hashy profiles.

Pinene

Piney, resinous. The scent of a forest after rain. Researched for antimicrobial activity and traditionally associated with alertness.

Suver Haze #50 x GG#4 CBD Conversion (Oregon CBD)
Sour Lifter is an Oregon CBD original described by the breeder as one of their absolute in-house favourites - a cross of Suver Haze #50 and their prized GG#4 CBD conversion that took several years of trials before they were satisfied enough to release it. Suver Haze #50 is a core Oregon CBD line and one of the parents of Lifter itself, which makes Sour Lifter something of a sibling to Lifter rather than a direct descendant - sharing parentage on one side rather than descending from it. The GG#4 CBD conversion is the other half: Oregon CBD's work to take the legendary Gorilla Glue #4 structure, resin density, and terpene profile and stabilise it into a compliant Type 3 cultivar. The combination of these two lines produces something that Oregon CBD themselves describe as terpinolene-forward and dense - a sour, fuel-edged, heavily resinous flower with exceptional cannabinoid production and excellent consistency. It placed 2nd at the Oregon Growers Cup 2021, confirming the quality outside of any single growing environment. The terpene profile is unusual for a sativa-dominant CBD cultivar: terpinolene dominates, which explains the uplifting, clear-headed effect character that sits alongside the bold diesel-and-sour aroma rather than contradicting it. Grown in a greenhouse by Rogue Family Farms on their 80-acre USDA-certified farm in Southern Oregon - protected from the elements under natural light conditions, hand-trimmed and slow-cured with zero pesticides. This CBD-dominant phenotype complies fully with UK hemp regulations.
How & When to Use
Daytime Herbal Tea
Sour Lifter is a daytime strain - and a confidently positioned one. Terpinolene dominance produces uplifting, alert, clear-headed effects that make this a functional morning or early afternoon option. The GG#4 genetics give it more weight than a straight sativa-dominant profile would suggest - Oregon CBD note it can creep up on you, and growers describe a sedative effect at higher amounts - so pacing is worth being aware of. Most customers use it for staying focused and engaged during the day rather than unwinding in the evening. Best prepared as a loose-leaf herbal tea. The aroma on opening is immediately loud and distinctive - sour citrus and grape sweetness hit first, followed by a diesel punch from the GG#4 genetics. Dense, resinous, frosted buds from the greenhouse grow. At 19.4% CBD this is a high-potency expression. Results may vary.
