CBD vape concentrations are typically shown as a percentage or mg per ml. Higher concentration isn't always better - it depends on how frequently you vape and your target intake. A 500mg pod at a moderate concentration will deliver more CBD per session than a high-concentration product used sparingly. Start at a mid-range concentration if you're new to CBD vaping and adjust from there. The cannabinoid breakdown will confirm the exact CBD content independently of what's on the label.

Terpenes are aromatic compounds that contribute to a cultivar's characteristic aroma and flavour. CBD vape brands can use hemp- or cannabis-derived terpenes, botanical terpene blends or conventional flavourings. These approaches aren't identical, so check whether a brand clearly identifies its terpene source rather than relying only on a strain name. The extract inside a quality pod should be clear to light gold - not dark brown or cloudy, which can indicate oxidation or poor-quality extract. Different CBD vape formats use different formulations. Originals CBD pods use cannabinoid extract with terpenes rather than a conventional PG/VG e-liquid base. Bottled CBD vape juice, however, can legitimately use propylene glycol (PG) and vegetable glycerine (VG), which are standard e-liquid carriers.

The important thing is that the complete ingredient list is disclosed and the formulation is specifically intended for inhalation. Oral CBD oils containing carriers such as MCT oil should never be put into a vape. Vitamin E acetate is different again and should not be used in vaping products.
