Harle-Tsu CBD Flower - Greenhouse

Harle-Tsu has one of the most important genetics stories in CBD cannabis history. Lawrence Ringo of the Southern Humboldt Seed Collective developed Sour Tsunami after four years of selective breeding - one of the first strains in cannabis history deliberately bred for high CBD rather than THC, developed because Ringo had chronic back pain and refused opioids. From Sour Tsunami he built a library of CBD genetics that underpins virtually everything the CBD breeding world has produced since: Harle-Tsu, Canna-Tsu, Swiss-Tsu, ACDC. Charlotte's Web - the strain that launched the global CBD conversation - traces its roots directly to Ringo's work. He passed away in 2014. The industry he helped build is worth billions.

Harle-Tsu is his most decorated cultivar. A cross of Harlequin - itself a four-way landrace sativa bred from Colombian Gold, Thai, Swiss, and Nepali genetics - and Sour Tsunami. The Harlequin parent was discovered by accident when its breeder noticed his hash plants weren't getting anyone high. The Sour Tsunami parent was four years of deliberate work to lock CBD dominance into diesel genetics that had only ever been bred for THC. The combination won 1st Place at the Emerald Cup three times and became the parent or ancestor of nearly every significant CBD cultivar that followed it.

This Harle-Tsu is grown in certified organic glasshouses in Greece under EU Regulation 2018/848 - audited by BIOHELLAS, accredited by the Hellenic Accreditation System. Hand-harvested, hand-trimmed, daily plant monitoring, no synthetic pesticides. The trim is honest rather than manicured and the price reflects that. The genetics, the organic certification, and the growing practice are what you're buying. Brewed as a loose-leaf herbal tea the earthy pine and woody citrus character comes through clearly in the cup - calm, focused, and genuinely anytime. At 14.97% total CBD it sits mid-range on potency. One of the most historically significant cultivars in the CBD world, grown properly and sold honestly. Find the COA here

Harlequin x Sour Tsunami (Southern Humboldt Seed Collective) - Greek organic glasshouse
Lawrence Ringo had severe chronic back pain and didn't want to take opioids. So he bred his way out of it instead. A cannabis farmer in Southern Humboldt, California - growing for over 35 years before he started breeding specifically for CBD - Ringo spent four years developing Sour Tsunami: one of the first cannabis strains in history deliberately bred for high CBD content rather than THC. When the California lab Pure Analytics called to say his Sour Tsunami had tested at 11.3% CBD, everyone at the Southern Humboldt Seed Collective cheered. They understood what it meant. So does anyone who works with CBD genetics today. From Sour Tsunami, Ringo went on to breed Harle-Tsu, Canna-Tsu, Swiss-Tsu, and ACDC - a library of CBD genetics that one Humboldt industry figure described as the foundation that "everybody in the industry, knowingly or unknowingly, pulls from." Charlotte's Web - the strain that launched the global CBD conversation - traces its lineage directly back to Ringo's work. Lawrence Ringo passed away in 2014. The industry he helped create is worth billions. Harle-Tsu is his most decorated cultivar. Harle-Tsu is a cross of Harlequin and Sour Tsunami, and the name is exactly what it says - Harle from Harlequin, Tsu from Tsunami. Both parents matter enormously. Harlequin is itself a four-way landrace cross developed by a breeder known as Mr. Green at the House of David Collective in Northern California in the mid-2000s: Colombian Gold (1970s), Thai sativa from the mountains near Laos, a Swiss landrace originally grown for cattle feed, and a Nepali indica from the Mustang region. The Colombian, Thai, and Swiss lines provide the sativa structure, the citrus and herbal aromatics, and the uplifting character. The Nepali indica grounds it with resin density and just enough body weight. Mr. Green discovered the CBD-rich character by accident - he was breeding for hash production and only tested the cannabinoids when he noticed his plants weren't getting anyone high. That accident changed everything. Sour Tsunami is Ringo's foundational creation - Sour Diesel crossed with NYC Diesel, four years of selective breeding to lock in CBD dominance in a genetic background that had been selected almost exclusively for THC for decades. When Ringo used a Sour Tsunami male to cross with a Harlequin clone, the result was Harle-Tsu - a cultivar that combined the four-way landrace complexity of Harlequin with the pioneering CBD stability of Sour Tsunami. It won 1st Place Best CBD Flower at the Emerald Cup in both 2012 and 2013, and at the 2014 Emerald Cup it tested at 21.05% CBD. It has since become a direct parent of Ringo's Gift, Cherry Blossom, and a foundational contributor to the Charlotte's Web genetics that put CBD on the global map. This Harle-Tsu CBD flower is grown in certified organic glasshouses in Greece under EU Regulation 2018/848 organic certification, audited by BIOHELLAS AE and accredited by the Hellenic Accreditation System. No synthetic pesticides, no chemicals. Daily plant monitoring by experienced growers, hand-harvested, hand-trimmed. The same Greek glasshouse provenance as the Amnesia CBD flower in the range - natural light, Mediterranean conditions, proper organic growing practice throughout. This CBD-dominant phenotype complies fully with UK hemp regulations.
How & When to Use
Anytime Herbal Tea
Harle-Tsu sits in the anytime category - and genuinely earns it. The myrcene, terpinolene, and pinene terpene combination produces a relaxed, focused, clear-headed character without the pronounced daytime energy of a sharp sativa or the settling weight of an indica-dominant strain. Clear and calm at the same time. The kind of tea you brew when you want to stay present and functional rather than wind up or wind down in either direction. Best prepared as a loose-leaf herbal tea. The aroma reflects both parents - earthy and woody from the Harlequin landrace heritage, a piney brightness from the pinene, citrus notes from the terpinolene. The trim on this batch is honest rather than close-cut, consistent with the glasshouse organic growing environment - the price reflects that, and the genetics story and the organic certification are where the value sits. At 14.97% total CBD it's mid-range on potency and comfortably above the Amnesia in the same Greek range.
