Lifter is an Oregon CBD original - a cross of Suver Haze and Early Resin Berry that became one of the most widely planted hemp cultivars in the US within a few years of its release. Oregon CBD developed it specifically for the commercial hemp market: a strain that combined Suver Haze's vigour, resin production, and terpene complexity with Early Resin Berry's early finishing time and structural density to produce a cultivar that performs in the field and delivers on quality. Suver Haze itself is a cross of Suver #8 and Special Sauce - two of Oregon CBD's foundational lines - and brings the fuel and earthy complexity that anchors Lifter's terpene profile. Early Resin Berry contributes the berry brightness and the tight, resinous bud structure. The result is one of the most recognisable hemp strains by aroma in the US market: the fuel and earth combination from the Suver Haze side balanced by the fruity freshness of the Early Resin Berry parent, with a faintly cheesy, funky quality underneath that comes through most clearly when the buds are freshly broken down. This 2025 harvest was grown sungrown by Rogue Family Farms on their 80-acre USDA-certified farm in Southern Oregon, hand-trimmed and slow-cured with zero pesticides. This CBD-dominant phenotype complies fully with UK hemp regulations.

Lifter is a daytime strain and one of the most clearly positioned ones in the range. The terpene profile - myrcene, caryophyllene, farnesene, terpinolene - produces an uplifting, energising, focus-forward character that's been consistent across harvests and growing environments for years. It's the strain customers reach for when they want to stay productive and switched on. Not a wind-down option, not an evening strain. The effects are bright and clear-headed without being wired.
