Sour Suver Haze CBD Flower

Sour Suver Haze is an Oregon CBD original - Suver #8 crossed with their GG#4 CBD conversion - described by Oregon CBD as one of their in-house favourites and an evolution of the award-winning Suver Haze lineage. Grown in a greenhouse by Rogue Family Farms in Southern Oregon. The sour lime and cinnamon spice character that defines it is a product of both parents working together - the Suver #8 sweetness meeting the GG#4 chemical depth. Brewed as a loose-leaf herbal tea the sour lime leads in the cup with a spiced cinnamon note developing underneath and a gassy, skunky finish from the GG#4 genetics - distinctive and warming rather than purely sweet. Dense, frost-covered buds. At 17.1% CBD it's upper-mid potency. An anytime tea that works across the day without committing firmly to either end.

Dominant Terpenes

Myrcene

Earthy, fruity, musky. The dominant terpene in most indica-leaning varieties. Traditionally associated with deep, grounding, hashy profiles.

Terpinolene

Fruity, herbal, floral. Rare as a dominant terpene but unmistakable when it leads. Researched for antioxidant activity.

Caryophyllene

Earthy, spicy, woody. Cracked black pepper and clove. Notable in research as the only terpene known to interact with CB2 receptors.

Limonene

Lemon, tart, citrus rind. Also found in citrus peel. Researched for its mood-associated properties and antioxidant activity in scientific literature.

Effect character

RelaxedUpliftedClear-headedCalm
A versatile anytime strain with a genuinely distinctive sour-spiced character. Myrcene and terpinolene lead - sour lime and sweet haze brightness - with caryophyllene adding the GG#4 gassy depth and cinnamon spice on the finish. Uplifting without being wired, settling without being heavy. The sour twist on one of Oregon CBD's most established lines - elevated terpene and cannabinoid production in greenhouse form. Works across the day and into the early evening.

Suver #8 x GG#4 CBD Conversion
Sour Suver Haze is an Oregon CBD original - a cross of their Suver #8 line with their GG#4 CBD conversion, and described by Oregon CBD themselves as one of their in-house favourites. Suver #8 is the same foundational line that produced Suver Haze - one of Oregon CBD's most award-winning cultivars - and brings the sweet, fruity haze character, strong mould and mildew resistance, and consistent CBD production that defined the original. The GG#4 CBD conversion is Oregon CBD's work to bring the Gorilla Glue #4 terpene profile and resin density into a compliant Type 3 plant - the same conversion that appears in Sour Lifter and Sour Brûlée elsewhere in the Originals range. Where Suver Haze is sweet and fruity at its core, the GG#4 conversion pushes Sour Suver Haze into sour, gassy, and more complex territory. Oregon CBD note that the Suver #8 parent's sweet smells still come through - the sweetness is there, but it's now paired with the sour lime and cinnamon spice that the GG#4 genetics contribute. The result sits between the two parents in character: sour and gassy rather than purely sweet, but with enough of the Suver #8 fruitiness underneath to keep it from being flat. Oregon CBD describe it as boasting elevated cannabinoid and terpene production compared to the original Suver Haze, and note improved density in the frosty, dense flower form. Grown in a greenhouse by Rogue Family Farms on their 80-acre USDA-certified farm in Southern Oregon, hand-trimmed and slow-cured with zero pesticides. This CBD-dominant phenotype complies fully with UK hemp regulations.
How & When to Use
Anytime Herbal Tea
Sour Suver Haze sits in the anytime category - it works across the day in a way that few strains in this run do cleanly. The terpene combination of myrcene, terpinolene, and caryophyllene produces a balanced character: uplifting enough for earlier in the day, settling enough for an after-work option without being too heavy for the evening. Sunset Lake describe it as "a nice after-work smoke that can jazz you up for an evening of fun" - and that's probably the most accurate positioning: the second half of the day without closing off the evening. Best prepared as a loose-leaf herbal tea. The aroma on opening is sour lime up front with a spiced cinnamon note underneath and a gassy, skunky finish - a distinctive combination that's immediately recognisable. Dense, forest-green buds with amber and orange pistils from the greenhouse grow. At 17.1% CBD it sits in the upper-mid potency range. Results may vary.
